summary: Flush session log file during session
class: semi-bug: This might or might not be a bug, depending on your precise definition of what a bug is.
difficulty: fun: Just needs tuits, and not many of them.
priority: low: We aren't sure whether to fix this or not.
present-in: 0.55
fixed-in: 2004-08-13 088a1d37e991673afcb7584c26e0921932a6d066 (0.56)

Perhaps we should occasionally flush the session log during a session
in `printable output only' and `all session output' logging modes, so
that the file on disc is at least vaguely up-to-date.

This is done as of 2004-08-13. It incurs some performance overhead, of
course; if anyone complains, we could make it less frequent, or optional.

Update, 2004-12-16: we've had one complaint about the performance hit
on Windows in 0.56, so I've added a checkbox to restore the old behaviour.
