Siebel-COM version 0.02 ======================= Siebel-COM was developed to make it easier to use Microsoft COM to access a Siebel application, either a Siebel Enterprise or a Siebel Client, without having to go down the details of Win32::OLE. Inspiration for this distribution came from the article http://jbrazile.blogspot.com.br/2008/03/siebel-com-programming-with-perl.html wrote by Jason Brazile and the despicable information in the documentation http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E14004_01/books/OIRef/OIRef_About_Object_Interfaces_and_Programming_Environment6.html#wp1026164 of Oracle saying that Perl cannot be used to connected to Siebel with COM. Visit the project website to have more information: https://code.google.com/p/siebel-com/ INSTALLATION To install this module type the following: perl Makefile.PL make make test make install DEPENDENCIES This module requires these other modules and libraries: Moose >= 2.0603 Win32::OLE >= 0.1709 MooseX::FollowPBP >= 0.05 namespace::autoclean >= 0.13 Siebel::AssertOS >= 0.02 For testing: Test::Exception >= 0.27 Test::Most >= 0.25 Test::Pod >= 1.22 Test::Pod::Coverage >= 1.08 Test::Class >= 0.36 DEVELOPERS TESTS To enable the developer tests (data_control.t and data_server.t), you must copy and setup the INI files located under the t\developer folder to the same folder where the test files are located.
